Ms. Ramsey joined Sonenthal & Overall as an Of Counsel attorney in 2014, after a 23+ year career in the Foreign Service with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), including 15 years at overseas posts in the Middle East, Asia, and South America and 5 years as USAID Deputy General Counsel. During her many years of practice, Ms. Ramsey has handled an array of issues pertaining to government contracts, grants, and numerous other matters.
USAID Experience (1982-2003, 2010-2013):
Regional Legal Advisor, 1982-1991, 1994-1998, 2010-2013 (serving USAID Missions in Egypt, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, India & Sri Lanka); Legal Advisor in USAID General Counsel’s Office1992-1994 (serving Bureaus for Asia and the New Independent States); Deputy General Counsel 1998-2003 (including 9 months as Acting General Counsel).
Private Sector Experience (1980-81, 2005-2010):
